Read our JEDI Commitment Statement:
At ISIFARMER, Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are not aspirational ideals but foundational principles embedded in how we build our team, design our technology, and grow our business. We exist to democratize urban entrepreneurship, giving people who would not otherwise have a realistic path into self-employment the materials, training, and market connections to become independent farmers – regardless of age, race, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, or prior experience. We work with vulnerable and underrepresented groups, including individuals with Down Syndrome and women who have experienced gender violence, building a hands-on, fully supported model that creates a real and dignified path from vulnerability to leadership. We recognize that the farmers who depend on us hold less power in that relationship, especially in the early stages, and we take that responsibility seriously: our terms are fair and transparent, our support is consistent, and our farmers have a genuine voice in how our model evolves. Our executive leadership holds accountability for these commitments, reviewing our progress regularly and reporting on it transparently. JEDI is not a checkbox for us – it is the foundation ISIFARMER was built on and the standard by which we continue to grow.
