1. Be an Urban Farmer for a Day

A Transformative Experience

This workshop is 3 hours long, where you put yourself in the shoes of an urban farmer. You will learn to cultivate microgreens with a hydroponic system. This course will teach you the basics of sustainable business entreprenuership and you will discover  how Urban Vertical Farming can transform cities and communities.

Course Contents

  • Learn how to sow and care for microgreens in a real hydroponic system
  • Taste fresh, healthy, and surprising flavors from the garden
  • Master how vertical farming changes the way we produce food and generate impact

Duration: 3 hours

Groups: 12 -16 people

2. Introduction to Urban Vertical Farming

This is a 12 hour long workshop that can change the way you see the city… and your professional future. Through 12 one hour sessions concentrated in three intense days, you will learn how vertical urban agriculture systems work nd discover why it is one of the fastest growing businesses in the world.

  • The business of Urban Vertical Farming trends and opportunities.
  • Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) in the city

  • Urban Vertical Farming as an opportunity for self-employment
  • Internship in a real ISIFARMER cultivation unit

3. Entrepreneurship Program

This is a 44 hour long workshop spread between 76 sessions. It is a joint collaboration between ISIFARMER and the Polytechnic University of Madrid. You will learn everything you need to know to successfully launch your own business and will receive active support and mentorship from past program graduates.

  • Our technological platform and its intelligent virtual assistant
  • Controlled environment agriculture (CEA) systems in urban areas
  • Building a solid and profitable business plan
  • Marketing strategies and market access

  • Use of a vertical farming unit throughout the program
