JEDI Commitment

ISIFARMER commits to operating in a just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive manner across our operations, our customers, and the communities in which we work.

We exist to democratize urban entrepreneurship and accelerate social inclusion by empowering individuals from vulnerable backgrounds – including people with intellectual disabilities, women survivors of gender-based violence, and young people excluded from the labour market – to lead high-tech vertical farms and build sustainable livelihoods.

We are especially accountable to our urban farmers and and to the volunteers and collaborators on our core team, who have the least power to influence our decisions or choose an alternative, and we design our practices with their needs first.

We hold ourselves to this commitment in how we design our technology, train and support urban farmers, hire and manage our team, select our suppliers and partners, and serve our HORECA customers and local communities.

This commitment is grounded in workforce and stakeholder data and is carried out through the concrete actions set out in our JEDI Action Plan.

Anyone affected by our work – urban farmers, our team, customers, suppliers, and the communities where we operate – can raise concerns about justice, equity, diversity, or inclusion without fear of retaliation. Concerns can be raised directly at feedback@isifarmer.com or anonymously via the following links. These channels cover both JEDI-related concerns and general workplace grievances.
